Relative to the length of time I have wanted to paint this, the time since priming this 3ftx3ft linen canvas has been short (and rich with learning). I’ve never painted something quite so ‘involved’ before. It’s not just me crafting this painting one person at a time…there are other voices (no, not in my head). Many people I talk to about it (or see it) have an idea for a plot to include or a wacky person to paint. It inspires me to see other people excited about it. I just wanna run home and paint! Below are some samples…since these people are 2-3 inches high you wouldn’t be able to see them without close-ups. Soon I’ll sort out how to showcase each person on the painting…but for now, some of the highlights…
