walk up to the boats

Instead of going toward the jettys from the surf beach, tonight we shook things up and turned the other direction.  So much to see and even more to photograph.  Both Lee and I had a blast.  I shot a few I am quite proud of.  Just a lazy Maldivian evening, lots of kids out playing in the sand, kite flying, fishing, surfing, and sitting, watching the ocean.

This guy caught our attention by waving (both of us with large cameras in hand) wanting to show off his catch!

Comfy bed.

Just be sure you follow this rule.

These little girls waved and said hi to me as I passed (which doesn’t happen often) and I waved and said hi back…then thought better of just walking by, came back to them and asked if I could take their picture.

One of the little fairy princesses lost her slipper.

What did the art do to deserve this?

Do you even know what this means??

Great photos Becky! Yup, it’s hilarious that they have a wintermart…sounds like it should be in Inuvik alongside Northmart!
